March 2020 product roundup

Topics: Product updates

At Ometria we’re always looking for new solutions to support our clients. This month we’ve kicked off our webinar series to support you through these unprecedented times, and released a handful of new features so you can get the most out of the platform. Read the blog for a full breakdown of what’s new.

Colour pickers for text and blocks

Making a tweak to your HTML only to break your email, and be met with a mix of white, purple and broken code? We’ve all been there.

The all-new email colour pickers give you the freedom to customise the colours of your text and blocks with no HTML attached. Let your creativity flare, with no extra help needed to change the colours of emails, so you can make them as contextual and engaging as possible.

Turn customer insights into broadcast campaigns

Enhance your broadcast campaigns using the dimension matrix for segmentation.

The dimension matrix enables you to gain quick insight into potential opportunities by overlaying different customer dimensions for example frequency of purchase by customer value. You can now action the data straight from the view and create broadcast campaigns to target the segments.

If you’re focused on increasing revenue, use the Frequency x Value matrix to target and send broadcast campaigns to your high value customers to encourage repeat purchase.

You can also use the dimension matrix to optimise the performance of your broadcast campaigns.  Use the Email Engagement dimension to test other content styles with your segments that are less engaged.

An instant overview of email performance

This month we have seen many retailers changing their content strategy in light of the current COVID-19 situation. To make monitoring the performance of your email campaigns as easy as possible, all email types have been added to the KPI dashboard – so you’re presented with a snapshot of email performance as soon as you log into Ometria.

Even more reporting capabilities

This month more fields have been released to help manage and analyse your datasets in the Orders Report. These include:

Visit medium – the medium that the order is attributed to, e.g. social, cost per click, search, referral, etc.

Visit campaign the campaign this order is attributed to – if this cannot be found based on UTM parameters, this column will read ‘Not provided’.

Visit domain – the domain url the order is attributed to, e.g. google.com, facebook.com, client website, etc.

Customer profiles glow up

We’re continually making improvements to our UI so it works better for you. This month you may have noticed the customer profiles have undergone some enhancements. 🤩

And that’s it for this month. Keep your eyes peeled for more releases coming soon…
