Ometria and Attentive join forces to deliver experiences customers love through SMS

We’re excited to announce our partnership and integration with Attentive, the leading text message marketing solution. This partnership will allow new and existing customers to leverage Ometria’s customer data and marketing platform to seamlessly create cross-channel campaigns using Attentive’s SMS capabilities.

Why SMS?

SMS marketing is just starting to break through the noise for retailers. There is a large demand from consumers for brands to adopt text messaging that still hasn’t been tapped into. The need for 1:1 connections are clear, and there is a desire to have a two way conversation, which ultimately will strengthen customer loyalty.

It’s true that e-commerce growth has accelerated over the past year, and with it, so has SMS adoption. According to Attentive’s 2021 SMS Marketing Consumer Trends Report there was a 66.5% increase year over year in sign ups to receive texts from brands. Even though adoption has increased, retailers need to keep up with the demand – 91% of consumers are interested in signing up for texts, but not all businesses offer it yet.
